Privacy Policy
This policy describes the data handling of the English DeltaPatcher.net website as currently implemented.
Scope
This policy applies to visits to DeltaPatcher.net. It does not govern the Delta Patcher desktop application, GitHub, the project repository, or other websites reached through external links.
Information you provide
The website does not currently provide accounts, forms, comments, or a direct contact submission. It therefore does not ask you to send personal information through the site.
Hosting and server logs
The hosting provider may process routine technical logs needed to deliver and protect the website. These logs can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, referring page, and diagnostic or security data. Retention and access are controlled by the hosting environment and its configuration.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics service or advertising service is active in the launch build. The site does not contain analytics identifiers, ad slots, or tracking pixels. This policy must be updated before either category is enabled.
Cookies and local storage
The launch site does not set its own cookies and does not use browser local storage. It uses your operating-system light or dark preference through CSS without storing a separate theme setting.
External GitHub links
Download buttons and project links take you to GitHub-hosted assets or pages. GitHub processes those requests under its own terms and privacy practices. DeltaPatcher.net does not receive the contents of your GitHub account or the files you choose on GitHub.
Retention and choices
Because the website does not currently collect form submissions, maintain accounts, or run first-party analytics, there is no site account or marketing profile to delete. You can limit routine request information by using browser privacy controls or privacy tools, subject to the technical requirements of accessing a public website.
Children’s privacy
The website is general software documentation and is not designed to collect information from children. It does not knowingly request personal information from visitors of any age.
Policy changes
This page will be revised when the site’s data practices change. A new effective date will appear above. Review this policy again if analytics, advertising, contact forms, or other data-handling features are later introduced.
